Tools for Creation

Posability Magazine has written a fantastic article in their Dec 2021 issue about Blind Create, which can been read in the News section on the website, titled ‘TOOLS FOR CREATION’ by Katie Campbell.

It’s featured on page 58-59 of the magazine, as a double page spread containing a write up and gallery of work produced by 2 clients and my examples.

This is a such a great article by Katie Campbell who has described Blind Create with flair and the gallery of images really gives light to our story.

About PosAbility Magazine - some parts pasted from their website:

‘‘PosAbility Magazine has been serving the disabled community for over 10 years. The magazine itself is a lifestyle magazine that specifically caters for disabled people and families with disabled children. We create a magazine that disabled people want to read and we strive to ensure that our magazine showcases a wide range of voices from the disabled community….

PosAbility exists to serve the disabled community, to showcase the voices of disabled people and to ultimately provide readers with a positive and thought-provoking magazine with relatable and enjoyable content.’’

Ability Needs Magazine will also be writing an article on Blind Create for their quarterly magazine 20th Edition that comes out in Jan- March next year.

Jemima completed her painting of Elf with Berty the Elf at her side and her dad, and Sully the Elf was with me. Visit the Grigor Gallery to join in the Elf party. You are most welcome!

Other developments have been happening last week, which are listed here:

  • 15% Christmas Promotion: I have introduced a 15% promotion on all artwork over £95 with a code that will need to be applied at checkout. There are plenty of artworks to buy so visit the galleries and pick some artwork to give to someone for Christmas or buy for yourself.

  • The landing page: for David Grigor has been updated with a painting of mum and baby orangutangs , which I am very fond of. Due to the diversity of my artwork, it is far more apt to be saying that I have a broad range of work, instead of saying that landscape is my main theme. I’ve painted portraits and I’m hoping to put a new gallery up in the new year to represent these artworks.

  • Christmas landing page: This week I’m preparing a special Christmas image for the landing page and I’m going to put this onto some clothing own in my Store to those wanting to wear something Christmassy and have some cheer.

  • Background colour on website: I’ve also changed the background tone throughout the website, but this may change again, if you like it or want to comment please let me know if this works for you?

  • Masis - I’m discussing with Peter Lyne the founder of Masis about linking the Grigor Gallery with Masis for greater awareness and exposure. It’s a real possibility so we are looking at ways in which this may be able to work in the new year.

Next week will be the milestone 20th Blog - just before Christmas…
