After Picasso portrait:

Using oil pastel we use our interpretation of one of Picasso’s portraits of Dora Maar.

Step 1 -

How to start your Picasso portrait.

Step 2-

Background - using oil pastel, tissue paper and corrugated card.

Step 1:

Draw the outline and shapes in the portrait.

Start choosing colours to fill in the shapes an features.

Step 2:

Fill-in the spaces with oil pastel, mixing tones of the same colour and similar hues.

Step 3:

Develop the background using oil pastel, tissue paper and corrugated card.
