Step 1

Start with a pair of socks!

Put a sock in it?! Not quite.

I used a old pair of socks and wrapped them in a ball - like this>

Step 2:

Wrap it in crepe paper using celotape or masking tape - white or light colour.

Step 3:

Wrap modroc around it using water.

Step 4:

Put on tail and beak features and legs,

Step 5:

Finish Robin by painting and possibly adding feathers and eyes and string for putting onto Christmas tree,

To complete:

Find a twig or 2 and cotton wool for snow and a ribbon/wire cleaner fix with PVA glue for popping on the Christmas tree or elsewhere.
