Roddy the Robot by Jemima

Jemima chose a robot to paint for the 1st session in 2022. We called him Roddy the Robot, and started by drawing him out on the paper, using rectangles for the main body features. She had help from her dad.

We added light grey for the metallic look and then the background while Roddy dried off. We painted white in the mechanical shapes on the body work.

We mixed blue and red together to make purple for the background as a good contrast colour.

Then began to put some detail in with black paint and 2 eyes on the head. This is the finished Roddy doing the robot dance.
