How to make the masks:

Step 1: Choose either black or white card. Stick 2 pieces of A4 card together at the long end and fold in the middle. Or fold A3 card in half.

Step 2. Take 6 sheets of card of various colours and fold them 3 times over.

Step 3. Cut long strips with one colour. triangles with another colour. oblong shapes with another colour, leaf shapes with another colour, wavy shapes with another colour, and circles with another colour.

Step 4. Position the long pieces across the mask and paste. Place the wavy strips on either side of the mask to make further shapes. Place other shapes on the mask on one side, and copy on the opposite side to show balance.

Step 5. Overlap some shapes and cover most of the mask with the shapes.

Step 6. Place feathers on to enhance the mask. Put glue on parts of the mask and sprinkle glitter on to the eyes perhaps and other pars where you want it to shine!

Step 7. Fix on a strap to put the mask on - using a stapler and some elastic.
