‘‘Chimney sweep’’

Jemima chose to paint a chimney sweep and wanted to use some mixed media for this painting. So she used some newspaper and glue for the roof tiles.
She had help from her dad, and over 2 sessions built up the sky with a paint brush, using blue and white, grey finger painting, and collage fore the roof.
Even the features of the face were brilliantly drawn using simple v shapes lines of his eyes and nose.

David guided Jemima with this collage painting of ‘‘Arthur Sweep’’ who sounds a bit like ‘‘Half a sweep’’.
Jemima did really well to copy the composition, and draw the figure on the roof top and position the features.
